Who we are

Feedback Feijoa is a tool we built for community events, including meetups, conferences, and AWS Community Days. It is currently run as a small project rather than a registered company. We take privacy seriously and keep our practices simple and transparent.

What we collect

• Event feedback: When attendees submit their preferred ratings or comments, we store them anonymously. We do not collect names, emails, or any other personal identifiers. Organisers see only the feedback, not who sent it.
• Your account (organisers): Sign-in is handled by AWS Cognito. We do not store your password, only what is needed for your account (such as your email address).
• Beta access requests: If you submit your name, email, and reason for wanting to try Feedback Feijoa, we use that only to process your request and grant access. We do not add you to mailing lists or use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: to let you log in, show feedback to the relevant event organisers, and respond to people who want to try it. We do not sell your data, run ads, or track you across the web. We are not responsible for how event organisers use, store, or share the feedback they receive through the service. We currently offer free access for AWS Community Days and for others who want to try the product; if we introduce a paid tier or change this approach, we will say so clearly.

Where we store it

Data is stored on AWS in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. We follow standard security practices and retain only what is needed to operate the service.

Your rights and questions

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, edit or delete your data. If you would like to exercise those rights or have any privacy questions, please contact us at hello@feedbackfeijoa.com. We will do our best to assist. Anonymous feedback cannot be linked to an individual, so we cannot look it up or delete it by identity, but we are happy to explain how things work.

Changes to this policy

If we update this page, we will change the “Last updated” date. We aim to keep the policy accurate as the product evolves.
